High Court rejects former Prime Minister Olmert's appeal
The Israeli Supreme Court has rejected an appeal by former Prime Minister Ehud Olmert who in May was sentenced to eight months in prison and another eight months probation in the so-called Talansky case. Olmert was accused of accepting envelopes filled with money from American Jewish businessman Morris "Moshe" Talansky.
