Arkia flight from Greece to Israel delayed hours due to sick flight attendant
A flight of Israeli airliner Arkia, which was supposed to take off from Rhodes, Greece to Israel on Friday morning was delayed for several hours, due to one of its flight attendants falling ill and being evacuated to a local hospital. Since flight rules don’t allow flying passengers with a missing flight attendant, the plane flew to Israel without the passengers – but with their luggage already on board.
An alternate plane is on its way to Greece, and the flight back to Israel is expected to take off at about 10pm.
