All MDA blood donations since June to be retested for syphilis

All of the Blood donations accepted by the Magen David Adom (MDA) blood bank since June will be re-tested due to a concern that they may have been exposed to syphilis, according to a statement by the Ministry of Health.
The concerns came about due to a possible defect discovered in the testing system.
