Clashes between police and protesters continue in E. J’lem

Clashes that began during the Yom Kippur holiday between police and protesters in East Jerusalem continue into Wednesday evening: In the predominantly Palestinian neighborhood Silwan, protesters threw stones and Molotov cocktails at authorities.
In addition, on a part of route 1 (which stretches from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem) near the capital, stones were thrown, and Border Police forces arrested five suspects.
