Three lightly wounded from rock-throwing in Jerusalem
Two Israelis sustain light injuries after rocks hurled at their vehicle in the At-Tur neighborhood; Israeli security personnel arrest 15 year old during scouring if the area; third Israeli wounded after being struck by rock at the Lions’ Gate in the Old City.
Two Israelis were evacuated to Hadassah Medical Center in light condition Tuesday afternoon after rocks were hurled at their vehicle in the Jerusalem At-Tur neighborhood in the Mount of Olives.
In a separate incident next to the Lions' Gate in Jerusalem’s Old City, another individual was injured after being struck by a rock and was taken to Shaare Zedek Medical Center
During scours of At-Tur, policemen and Israel Border Police identified a 15-year-old resident of the neighborhood fleeing the scene after throwing stones. As the security personnel pursued the assailant, he continued to throw rocks in their direction before eventually being apprehended and taken in for questioning.
Last Saturday a Border Police officer was stabbed near Har Adar, outside Mevaseret Zion and was taken to the hospital in what authorities described as fair condition.
According to the Border Police, during operational activities conducted by the Border Police by the fence encircling Har Adar, the attacker burst out of bushes where he had been hiding, and stabbed the officer before fleeing the scene.
