WATCH: Female terrorist shot by security forces

The day after a knife-wielding terrorist attempted to attack a group of Border Police, video surfaces depicting the terrorist being shot by security forces; Samaria Regional Council Head: 'This is another attempt to harm our daily routine, and it did not succeed.'

The day after a stabbing attack was thwarted at the Tapuah Junction in Samaria, a video of Border Police shooting the female terrorist has surfaced.

 

 

The clip depicts the female terrorist lying on the ground after being shot, instead of the actual stabbing attempt. The soldiers can be heard answering the question "Who's firing, who's firing?" by saying, "All four of us."

On Wednesday, Israel Police said, "An attempted stabbing attack occurred at 12:50pm at the Tapuah Junction. A suspicious individual approached Border Guards stationed in the area who recognized her behavior and warned other soldiers. She was ordered to stop and warning shots were fired into the air. She did not heed the warnings of the soldiers and suddenly drew a knife and moved in their direction. At this point, soldiers opened fire in her direction. The terrorist was identified as Rahik Yusuf, 19, a resident of Asira ash-Shamaliya."

After the event, Samaria Regional Council Head Yossi Dagan said, "This is another attempt to harm our daily routine and it did not succeed. I want to thank the soldiers for their vigilance. Tourist events throughout Samaria will continue as planned. Tens of thousands of tourists are in Samaria right now, and I hope we have a pleasant and quiet holiday."
