Court extends suspected terrorist's arrest

The Jerusalem Magistrate Court extended the arrest of a 20-year-old resident of the Arab neighborhood of Silwan, outside the Old City of Jerusalem, for suspicion of a vehicular attack in which he hit several passersby.

The man was also suspected of carrying a knife, which was found at the scene.

The man's lawyer claimed that his client was attacked after he had hit the pedestrians and asked that he undergo psychiatric evaluation.
