Jerusalem terrorist sentenced to 17 years in prison
The Jerusalem District Court sentenced Saed Muhammad Qumbuz—a terrorist who carried out a stabbing attack in December 2015 near Jerusalem’s Central Bus Station—to 17 years in prison Wednesday afternoon.
Qumbuz admitted to, and was convicted of, attempted murder and possession of a knife. The court also ordered that he compensate the soldier he stabbed with 50,000 shekels.
