Kahlon opposes closure of IPBC

Minister of Finance Moshe Kahlon said Monday morning that he is opposed to the shutdown of the Israel Public Broadcasting Corporation (IPBC), which is set to replace the long-standing Israel Broadcasting Authority (IBA).
"I will not cut one agora (one one-hundredth of a shekel, the equivalent of cents to US dollars. -ed) from government ministries," Kahlon said at a meeting of the Knesset Finance Committee.
