State files request to postpone Amona eviction by 7 months

The request was filed by the State Attorney's Office and requested the postponement in order to examine residence alternatives for those people currently living in Amona.

Among the alternatives mentioned was moving structures to a site called "Amona North" and another option was moving to a site called "Eastern Shvut Rachel."

The state claims that it is seeking to carry out the evacuation peacefully and without incident, but it is unable to enact alternative living plans for residents in the next two months. The state emphasized that if the court refuses the request, it is prepared to carry out the evacuation by the date set in the decision.
