GOC Northern Command to become Dept. IDF Chief of Staff

Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman has approved Maj. Gen. Aviv Kohavi to become the Dept IDF Chief of Staff.

Maj. Gen. Kohavi was formerly the GOC Northern Command.

He will be replacing Maj. Gen. Yair Golan, who has served out his two year term in the position.
