Soldier wounded by gunfire near Tulkarm
The incident occurred when a force from the 53rd armored battalion was operating near the entrance to Tulkarm. Soldiers heard shooting and half an hour later one of the soldiers noticed a bullet had grazed his knee. Following an initial investigation by forces in the area, the shooting area was discovered after finding shell cases. The soldier was transported to the hospital and the IDF is investigating the incident.
