Four IDF bases to receive NIS 2 billion upgrade
Four IDF bases are going to receive a NIS 2 billion upgrade, the Defense Ministry's Construction Department said Monday.
The bases—Bilu, Julis, Shura and Gidonim—were built during the British Mandate. They are expected to take in many IDF units leaving bases in central Israel and will therefore receive a facelift, including 1 million square meters of modern structures to replace the existing shacks.
