President of Israel congratulates Trump
President of Israel Reuven Rivlin on Wednesday congratulated Donald J. Trump for his victory in the US presidential elections.
"I would like to congratulates the president-elect, Donald Trump, his family, and the American people as a whole, who have once again proven to the entire world the meaning of being the greatest democracy in the world. Many challenges stand at your doorstep, Mr. President, domestic and global," Rivlin said, "Israel, the United States' strongest ally, stands by our friend and partner in any challenge that may come our way, and I have no doubt that the connections between the countries will continue and strengthen during Trump's presidency as well."
