Mexican President responds to Trump's win

Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto responded Wednesday to the results of the US presidential election, in which Republican Donald J. Trump defeated Democrat Hillary Clinton.
Trump has repeatedly made harsh statements about illegal Mexican immigrants to the US, and has suggested that the US will built a wall on the border to keep them out; he has also repeatedly stated that he will make Mexico pay for said wall.
Pena Nieto said he trusts that US-Mexico relations will continue to be strong bonds of cooperation and mutual respect.
