Former senior National Security Council member investigated for bribery

A former senior member of the National Security Council member was investigated over suspicions of bribey, money laundering and breach of trust. Following his investigation, he was released to house arrest.

The covert investigation is looking into suspicion that the former official accepted bribes to promote the interests of a foreign businessman without reporting about their relationship.
