Illegal resident injured while evading police
The 30-year-old construction worker suffers a serious head injury after apparently falling while attempting to flee police who were looking for illegal residents.
A construction worker was seriously injured Saturday at a construction site in Kiryat Malachi after fleeing police when asked to produce identification.
Police arrived at the scene as part of efforts to locate illegal residents working throughout the area. Two other suspects were detained.

Paramedics from MDA came to the scene and provided emergency first aid to the 30 year old before rushing him to the hospital with what was described as a serious head injury.
Police have opened an investigation into the incident, but initial reports indicate that the suspect attempted to flee the scene after two other workers were detained and slipped and fell from an unspecified height.
