Defense Ministry confirms Israeli money from Submarine purchase will fall into Iranian pockets

The Defense Ministry confirmed Tuesday evening that in 2004 it was made aware of an Iranian corporation which held 4.5% shares in company ThyssenKrupp from which Israel acquired the combat submarine.

Last week, Yedioth Ahronoth, Ynet’s sister publication, discovered that Israeli money used in the purchasing of the submarine will fall into Iranian pockets. However, the Defense Ministry insisted that it was unaware of he involvement of any Iranian company.
