Attempted stabbing at Tapuach Junction; terrorist killed
A stabbing attack was thwarted at a bus stop at the Tapuach Junction in the West Bank on Thursday morning.
The attacker, an 18 year old from Qalqilya, aroused the suspicion of security personnel after he alighted a bus and proceeded in their direction.
After Border Police soldiers called on the suspicious individual to stop, he failed to respond and continued walking toward them before pulling out a knife and attacking them.
He was shot and neutralized and pronounced dead shortly thereafter. There were no reports of injuries.
