The Supreme Court rejected on Sunday an appeal of former Ramat Gan mayor Zvi Bar, who was sentenced to 5.5 years' imprisonment for bribery, money laundering and obstruction of justice.
While the judges' panel unanimously voted to reject his appeal, they did decide to shorten his sentence to only three years, citing his age and medical condition.
