Government approves NIS 536 million in financial benefits for Gaza border residents

The government approved on Sunday NIS 536 million in financial benefits for residents of the Gaza border area and of Sderot.
The benefits in the 2017-2018 plan include 20% in tax credits, 45% discount in municipal taxes for residential property, subsidization of daycares, NIS 93 million in economic aid to the local authorities, NIS 40 million upgrade to the sewer infrastructure, NIS 25 million upgrade of the waste disposal infrastructure, expanding hotels and building cabins for tourists in the area, and more.
