Air strikes hit Aleppo after truce deal stalls

BEIRUT -- Air strikes resumed in the Syrian city of Aleppo on Wednesday, after a truce deal meant to halt fighting between government forces and rebels stalled, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said.

 

Heavy clashes including shelling and gunfire broke out again on Wednesday, a day after the announcement of a ceasefire.
