6 minors arrested for stone throwing in protest of Amona demolition

Six minors were arrested during the night at the Samaria Brigade square on suspicion of throwing stones at Arab vehicles in protest of the intention to demolish the Amona settlement.

The minors have denied the allegations, claiming that they stood at the intersection, but did not throw stones. One of the children was only 14.

Nati Rom from the NGO Honenu, representing the minors, said that the "minors have denied the allegations, there is no vehicle showing damage from thrown stones, and it seems that the fear of protest over Amona brings the police to make false arrests."
