US Ambassador to Israel summoned to meeting with Netanyahu over UN resolution

US Ambassador to Israel Dan Shapiro received a summoning Sunday for a meeting with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in the wake of the adoption of the UN Security Council's resolution against settlement construction, which the United States in an unusual move did not veto.

Because it is Christmas, the meeting will be held later this week.
