Knesset approves Tzachi Hanegbi's appointment as minister of regional cooperation

The Knesset approved on Monday the appointment of Tzachi Hanegbi (Likud) as minister of regional cooperation, a position held by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu previously.
The appointment was approved with 43 in favor and 18 against.
"There is a great potential to further deepen cooperation between Israel and its neighbors in the Middle East, and we will work towards that along with the Foreign Ministry and all state authorities," Hanegbi said.
