Arrest extended against man suspected of providing Ghattas cell phones
Court extends arrest of Assad Daka by three days on suspicion of providing cell phones to MK Basel Ghattas, who stands accused of smuggling them to terrorists in Israeli jails during his visits.
Assad is the brother of one of the inmates who is said to have received the phones from Ghattas, Walid Daka—one of the terrorists responsible for the kidnapping and murder of IDF soldier Moshe Tamam in 1984.
