Education Min. manager lightly injured in shooting

Ministry of Education’s Head of the Arab Education System in the Central Region, Taraq Abu Hajla, was lightly injured on Friday after he was shot in the Arab village of Jaljulia. He was hit by two bullets in his leg and was taken to Beilinson Hospital in Petah Tikva for treatment. At present, the motive for the incident remains unknown.

Hajla is known for mediating truces between local families.
