IDF Chief of Staff Gadi Eisenkot was hospitalized on Thursday in Beilinson Hospital in Rabin Medical Center to undergo a medical procedure that will take a few hours.
His military authority has been transferred, in the meantime, to Deputy Chief of Staff Maj.-Gen. Yair Golan.
