Trump and Netanyahu discuss 'beginning stage' of US Embassy move to Jerusalem
New US President Donald Trump spoke by telephone with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at 1:30 p.m. ET/1830 GMT on Sunday, the White House said.
According to the White House, Trump and Netanyahu's conversation included the "beginning stages" of moving the US Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.
Trump, who was sworn in on Friday, has criticized former President Barack Obama's policies toward Israel and has promised to improve relations after taking office.
