Ya'alon says it's fortunate that he and the PM acted responsibly during Protective Edge
Former Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon delivered a speech at Haifa University Wednesday during which he addressed a report set to be released about Operation Protective Edge from the State Comptroller.
“It is fortunate that the wheel was in the hands of Netanyahu, Gantz and in my hands,” he said. “It is a good job that we didn’t follow what was popular among some of the cabinet members. Their irresponsibility would have left the IDF in Gaza today.”
