Jewish teen charged with planning to harm Arabs in retaliation for vehicular attack

A 16-year-old Jewish teenager from central Israel was charged on Monday with the possession of a knife and attempting to conspire to carry out a terror attack.
According to the indictment, on January 8, the teenager participated in a protest at the East Talpiot promenade following the vehicular attack there earlier that day, which claimed the lives of four IDF soldiers and left 13 others wounded.
During the protest, the teen was fanning the flames and calling our racist slurs.
Police officers at the scene arrested the minor and found two pocket knives in his possession.
In his questioning, he admitted to his intention to harm Arabs in retaliation for the vehicular attack.
