MK Shelly Yachimovich to run for Histadrut head

MK Shelly Yachimovich (Zionist Camp) announced that she would run for the leadership of Israel's organization of trade unions, known as the Histadrut. Elections will take place at the end of May.

In a Facebook post, Yachimovich wrote that she intends to "make this body the tip of the society's spear, making it powerful, inlcusive, brave, incorruptible, and democratic."
