Hundreds of Haredi protesors try to block main routes in Bnei Brak, Jerusalem over IDF mandatory draft of Haredim

Hundreds of ultra-Orthodox protestors attempted to block central traffic routes in the cities of Bnei Brak and Jerusalem, in protest of the arrest of a yeshiva student, under charges of defection.

The protests' organizers belong to the Lithuanian Haredi sector, which has waged war against drafting yeshiva students to the IDF, under the direction of their leader,Rabbi Shmuel Auerbach. The police have reported that five protestors have already been arrested.
