Hearings for those arrested following Tuesday's riots by Ultra-Orthodox protestors were held in the Jerusalem District Court Wednesday night.
During the demonstrations, 18 rioters were arrested for disturbances related to transportation, illegal gathering, throwing stones, participating in a riot and assaulting police officers.
5 suspects arrested in riots in Beit Shemesh were released to house arrest during investigation are expected to file charges against them.
13 suspects arrested in riots in Jerusalem were brought before the court, with 4 receiving extended detention for periods ranging from two to three days. The rest were released by the court to house arrest. The prosecution is expected to file charges against all suspects.
