UN Secretary General denies reports of Tzipi Livni appointment

UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres referred to a series of interviews in Arab media reports that he is considering appointing Tzipi Livni to a senior position in exchange for approval of the appointment of former Palestinian Prime Minister Salam Fayyad as envoy to Libya, and called the reports "just talk and speculation."
