Plea deal for Rosh HaAyin terrorist reached

Lod District Court has presented an amended plea agreement between the prosecution and defense concerning Shatila Abu Iyada, 23, a resident of Kfar Qasim, who stabbed a woman in Rosh HaAyin due to a nationalist motive.
According to the terms of the deal, Iyada will receive 16 years for attempted murder.
On April 3, 2016, Abu Iyada stabbed a woman in Rosh HaAyin's industrial area. A security guard noticed the assailant and detained her after finding a knife in her purse.
