Snow in Golan Heights, rain across country

The height of winter will be reached as snow and rain storms will hit the country; there's a chance for snow in Jerusalem and concern for floods in the coastal cities and the Shfela.

There is a heavy concern for floods in eastern and southern streams and flooding in the coastal cities and the Shfela. There will be light snowing in the northern Golan Heights and in Safed.

Snow levels in Mount Hermon are 55 cm in the southern part and 85 cm in the northern part. The site is currently closed but will open tomorrow in accordance with weather conditions.
Temperatures will start rising on Friday.
