US Amb. to UN: US "absolutely" still supports 2 state solution

US ambassador to the UN, Nikki Haley, said on Thursday that Washington "absolutely" supported the two-state solution to resolve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, without dismissing "alternatives."
"We absolutely support a two-state solution, but we are also considering alternatives," Haley said after a Security Council meeting on the Middle East.
US President Donald Trump said Wednesday at a joint White House press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that he was not overly concerned about the two-state solution.
