Tayibe resident accused of planning terror attack on behalf of ISIS
A Tayibe resident is accused of several security offenses, among them belonging to ISIS and contacting a foreign agent. The accused, Enas Haj-Yahia, 35, was arrested by security forces on suspicion of planning a terror attack on behalf of ISIS.
The Shin Bet stated that he was asked to plan a bus attack in Tel Aviv and injure IDF soldiers. According to security officials, Yahia swore allegiance to the ISIS leader and considered joining the battles in Syria.
During the investigation, it was discovered that Yahia distributed instructions on how to prepare explosive devices and how to incorporate toxins into the devices, including Sarin gas.
