The Knesset passes second and third reading of the biometric database
The Knesset passed the second and third reading of the biometric database initiated by Interior Minister Aryeh Deri.
According to the bill, every citizen issuing an ID card or passport will be obligated to join the database and provide a picture. Adding a fingerprint will be optional.
