A thief has been charged with stealing 3,500 shells worth NIS 23 million over a period of six years.
The Southern District Prosecutor's Office filed an indictment in Beer Sheva District Court against Muhammad Alhranik for a series of weapons offenses including trafficking of weapons, conspiracy to commit a crime, trespassing, theft and more.
According to the indictment, Alhranik and his accomplices stole the shells, worth NIS 6,000 each, over six years and also stole thousands of bullets.
Additionally, the defendant sold roughly NIS 1 million worth of the stolen equipment.
