Jordan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has sent a letter to the Israeli embassy in it's capital of Amman, protesting against "the Israeli damages of the Al-Aqsa Mosque."
In the letter, Jordanian government spokesman Mohammad al-Mumni demanded that Israel stops the cionstruction in the southern wasll area of the mosque affective immediately, and to return the site to it's original state.
Al-Mumni claimed that the consturction is a clear violation of international and the peace treaty between the two countries.
