Uri Ariel: 'If there were failings in Umm al-Hiran, I apologize"

Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Uri Ariel addressed the controversial events during the evacuation of Umm al-Hiran last January, in which Abu al-Qiyan, was shot dead by police after running over and killing Sgt. Erez Levi, during his visitation to the Bedouin city of Rahat Monday morning.
"If we had an oversight in Umm al-Hiran, I apologize sincerely," the minister said. "We'll wait for Internal Affairs' results. There are people saying that there were severe failings, and if there were, I apologize to the family."
