Children get into the festive spirit ahead of Purim

Photos: From Donald Trump and Spider-Man, to cowboys, IDF soldiers and princesses, Israeli children can hardly wait to show off their costumes before Purim officially begins on Saturday night.

Jews across the world will be celebrating the festival of Purim on Saturday night and Sunday as they mark their victory in ancient Persia over Haman, who set out to “to destroy, kill and annihilate all the Jews, young and old, infants and women, in a single day.”

With the festivities, parades and, not surprisingly, great food just around the corner, Israeli children could hardly wait to get into their costumes on Friday morning and kick off the Purim atmosphere early.

In that same spirit, Ynet would like to wish all our readers an early happy Purim.
