Israel’s UN Representative bashes Syria's UN Representative
Israel’s Representative to the United Nations Danny Danon denounced the statement made by Syria's ambassador to the UN, Bashar Jaafari, in response to Israel's attack in Syria Thursday night, calling it "the height of hypocrisy."
Danon noted that Jaafari is "an ambassador of a regime which massacres its own people," adding that "Israel will keep defending its citizens and their safety and will act against any attempt to harm it."
Jaafari denounced Israel's attack, saying in an interview to Syrian TV that Syria's response to the attack "changed the rules of the game."
