Portugal quizzes Moroccan IS suspect extradited from Germany
LISBON -- Portugal's attorney general says investigators are preparing to question a Moroccan man extradited from Germany who is suspected of providing financing and recruitment assistance to the Islamic State group.
The attorney general's office said in a statement that the man arrived in Portugal from Germany on Thursday after Portuguese authorities issued a European arrest warrant for him.
The statement said the man is suspected of belonging to and supporting a terrorist organization, which it named as the Islamic State group.
