Israeli Arab indicted for transferring money to ISIS fighters

Fadil Zabar, a 25-year-old Israeli Arab from Yafa an-Naseriyye, was indicted on Monday for having had contact with ISIS fighters and transferring money to one of them.

The Shin Bet's investigation found that Zabar kept in contact with his brother, who left for Syria in 2014 to fight with ISIS. When his brother was killed, Zabar was contacted by another Israeli national, Mohammad Kilani, who is still fighting with ISIS in either Syria or Iraq.

In 2016, Kilani contacted Zabar, asking him to transfer money to him in Iraq, which Zabar did.
