The Arab League will seek to ‘separate terrorism from resistance to the Israeli occupation’

The foreign ministers of the Arab League formulated a statement in the framework of the summit in Amman calling to "separate terrorism from legitimate resistance against the Israeli occupation," and not to consider Lebanese activity as terrorism. This was reported in the Al-Hayat newspaper. If the declaration is approved by the leaders of the countries that are set to convene on Wednesday, this would constitute a certain backpedalling from the declaration of the Arab states in 2016 of Hezbollah as a terrorist organization.
