Yesha Council: 'Despite the limitations, we can continue building settlements'
Yesha Council, an umbrella organization of municipal councils of Jewish settlements in the West Bank, made a statement following Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's new limitations on building of settlements in the area.
"Despite the limitations, the understandings reached between Israel's and the US governments allow the continued building of settlements in all areas in the West Bank, as well as the establishment of the new settlement for Amona's former residents.
"The real test is going to be the immediate continuation of the planning, building and development (of settlements). We will stand guard and work with the Israeli government to make sure that this plan comes to fruition."
