Radical Haredi sect protests, police arrest 7

150 Haredi protesters attempted to block off Route 4 near Bar Illan Junction on Tuesday afternoon.
They lay down on the road and attempted to block central roads and seven were arrested by police.
The protest is just one in a string of similar disturbances by the radical Haredi sect known as the ‘Jerusalem faction’ whose members have exhibited anger against the arrest of draft-dodging yeshiva students.
